Upgrade to Debian 10 "Buster"

1# Debian Stretch to Buster

3* Remove stretch-backports from apt sources
4  * This was previously used to install the following packages now
5    available in the base buster release:
6    * znc (1.7.2-3)
7    * certbot
8* Follow instructions at https://www.debian.org/releases/buster/amd64/release-notes/ch-upgrading.en.html
9  * sudo apt-get update
10  * sudo apt-get upgrade
11  * sudo dpkg --audit (check for any packages in an failed/error state)
12  * sudo dpkg --get-selections | grep 'hold$' (look for any packages with a version hold)
13  * replace references to 'stretch' with 'buster' in /etc/apt/sources.list and /etc/apt/sources.list.d/*
14  * script -t 2>~/upgrade-buster1.time -a ~/upgrade-buster1.script (keep record of upgrade process)
15  * sudo apt update
16  * sudo apt -o APT::Get::Trivial-Only=true full-upgrade (check enough disk space is available for upgrade)
17  * sudo apt-get upgrade
18  * sudo apt full-upgrade
19  * run ansible provisioning again
20  * reboot machine
